GoneMAD Music Player 4.0 is now fully rolled out!  After 14 years since initial release as being a paid app, I've decided to try something different and switch to being free with ads.  The market is completely different nowadays compared to the early 2010s.  Ads are everywhere and users typically do not want to pay for apps / games / etc.  But don't worry, those users who previously purchased the unlocker or in app purchase unlock will continue to get an ad free experience.  New users will also have the option to purchase an in app purchase to permanently remove ads.   Note: There is a bug with 4.0 where users with the standalone unlocker may see ads when they first upgrade.  You typically fix this by just force stopping the app and restarting.  Ads should not come back after that.  Alternatively you can contact gonemadsoftware@gmail.com and I can help you out as well.  I have no intention on making users who already paid see ads. I was able to tackle two rare, but frustrating bugs with the scanner.  The first one was if you use cue files for your albums, and you happened to have a multi disc albums (each with its own cue file), they would not get grouped together.  The second was a bit more rare, but those who scatter their files from the same album into multiple folders may have ran into it.  Split albums would occur in cases where song X from the album was scanned in and then 100+ files unrelated to the album are scanned before song Y from that album is scanned.   Both issues are fixed and assuming the rules are followed from here: https://gonemadmusicplayer.blogspot.com/p/dealing-with-split-albums.html there should no longer be any split albums Changelog: 3.5.12 (2025-07-11): Multi disc cue albums should now correct group together (delete db and rescan required) Fixed issue where songs from the same album in diff folders could end up in split albums 3.5.11 (2025-06-24): Prevent r...
