Balance

Control the volume balance between the left and right speaker

Force Mono

Forces multiple channel audio to be downmixed to mono output

Limiter

Will lower the gain of the audio output if it is too high.  This prevents audio clipping and distortion

  • Attack - How quickly the limiter is applied
  • Release - How quickly the output is returned to its uncompressed state

Bass Boost

Bass boost is an audio effect to boost or amplify low frequencies of the sound. It is comparable to a simple equalizer but limited to one band amplification in the low frequency range.  Note: this is a built in android effect.  GMMP is only able to turn it on/off and set the strength.

Tempo

Sets the tempo or playback speed of the audio output

Auto Pitch Correction

Automatically correct the pitch of the output when tempo is changed.  Pitch Correction

Virtualizer

An audio virtualizer is a general name for an effect to spatialize audio channels. The exact behavior of this effect is dependent on the number of audio input channels and the types and number of audio output channels of the device. For example, in the case of a stereo input and stereo headphone output, a stereo widening effect is used when this effect is turned on.

Amplifier

Will increase the audio loudness of the output.  Can cause clipping / distortion
